I have been drinking and I am yelling at a yankees fan, screw it.

Anyway Im so worried, if the NFL goes capless I can no longer be a cowboys fan. The cowboys will be spending excessive amounts of money and could become the yankees of the nfl. doesnt this scare anybody?

no it doesn't bother me at all i'd rather the owner put the money into his team than in his pocket.

1)I don't think there will even be a capless year. Terrible for the NFL.
2) If its a capless year talented guys will more than likely get re-signed. It won't be anything like the MLB IMO.
3) Cowboys are set at the high priced positions. They won't be getting a high priced corner. Won't be getting a high priced running back. Won't be getting a high priced pass rusher. I guess receiver is a position they could look into but if there is a capless year I think the Cowboys and MOST teams will try to add depth with solid players. Not build a All Pro team like the Yankees or Deadskins.

The cap sure is working for the NFL. Look how many terrible teams there are this year.

The Yankees took 8 years spending like this to finally get it right.

It's not how much but how you spend it.

If you do drink and post, don't post nude photos of yourself.

Unless you are a hot chick, of course. But that goes without saying

No, the Yankees proved you can't buy a championship in baseball. What they did do is follow a proven path to a Championship. They followed the Boston Redsox and the Pittsburgh Steroiders path The entire team using steroids or HGH = Championship.

Help me out here... What does Jerry's reputation for signing ALL these free agents, and spending all this money come from? What is the root of this arguement...? Been a fan for a long time, but I didn't really follow the offseason and free agency until recently.

A buddy of mine who was getting ripped because he's a Yankee's fan and them buying a championship, said, "you just remember this conversation if there is no NFL salary cap next season and Jerry starts buying his." Where does the reptutation come from?

Hope Jerry buys every player he can.

Not worried about it at all. If it brings Super Bowls, sweet, all for it.

I would rather get another monster trade aka "The Herschel Trade" and bring up the players, LIKE THEY DID IN THE 90's.

But, either way, I don't care. Such useless nonsense this "buying" a championship. Teams still have to go out and deliever the goods.

As witnessed by all of us Cowboys fans. You can have a great talented team on paper. And it don't mean a hill of beans if they don't go out and execute the they are "supposed" too.

Well let's see now. Deion Sanders, Joey Galloway, Terrell Owens, PacMan Jones, Tank Johnson and now Roy Williams. That's just off the top of my head.

So come on "Cowboys Fan" dude. WAKE UP!!!

Uhhhh Jerry TRADED for Roy Williams, Pac-Man Jones and Joey Galloway. Tank and Pac-Man were bargains due to their history. TO and Deion come to mind. So I guess that's what? Two names out of 20 years? I guess Jerry does have a huge history of spending money.

Yeah, this is what i was thinking... He's made a lot of trades for "big name players" but where is the "consistent" big spending in free agency? Maybe someone else can chime in with something better?

Actually I think that we will see a lot more players relased because they aren't earning what they are being paid and there won't be a cap hit if there isn't a cap. We will see a lot of decent free agents IMO.
