I notice neither of you have the sack to ante up with a prediction of your own.

That's ok. I'll be proven right eventually. And you'll know it when it happens.

You misread my comment. I and WPB were in a heated discussion about AmberBeer's comment that most beautiful women are crazy and drama queens.

WPB seem to agree with AmberBeer. When AmberBeer made the statement, I asked, "And you know this how"?

To see WPB use the same phrase is quite amusing to me when it is my position that you can't possibly know a matter that you can't quantify.

As to your point, I don't know whether he is bluffing or not. Time will tell. But it doesn't bother me one way or the other because he's not a Cowboys player, though I wish him well in retirement if he, indeed, decides to call it quits.

My apologies. In light of the other thread, yes your comment makes sense.

I misunderstood the context. Again, I apologize.

All you can do is admire someone who would walk away from that much money... or at least admire his convictions. While I have no doubt he will get in, he's a pretty questionable hall of famer in my book. Not a knock on him... 0 rings, only 2 truly special seasons and retiring at age 30 didn't give him enough time to have some more memorable playoff moments.

Good analysis.

Best I can tell, Calvin -- like Sanders, may just not care about HOF and all that.

Wide receiver Calvin Johnson has informed the Detroit Lions that he plans to retire, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Johnson allegedly shared his decision with quarterback Matthew Stafford and linebacker Stephen Tulloch long before he told the team’s power structure. He informed head coach Jim Caldwell of his plan to retire the day after the conclusion of the 2015 season

A 6-5 WR who ran a 4.3 speed, should have had a better career.

Detroit is trash.

As a Cowboy fan I have seen all I ever need to see of CJ against us.

If he really pays back 3.2m to get out of DET that will be something.

I can see him trying to force DET into cutting him but they have plenty of cap room as is and can easily account for his 24m cap hit this year. I don't see them releasing him.

Barry wanted out that way too.
