Calvin Johnson or Dez Bryant?

I only ask this question, because today I was super shocked. In this sports group that I'm apart of that is huge, full of fans from every team. Somebody asked the question. I clicked on it, ready to see a bunch of Megatron, Megatron, Megatron ect ect......No lie, the first whole page said Dez Bryant. 2 guys on this first page, said megatron, then went and changed their opinion because of a few points others made. Then I only saw a few Calvin's but overall by a landslide it was Dez.

I know this has been discussed on here, but I'm interested in getting your take. Think outside of being a Cowboys fan.

Me personally I still feel like Dez has to catch up to Tron. I feel like he is still the better player. I was shocked to see so many Dez's. Especially with the ton of cowboys hate they get in this group I'm part of.

The Detroit writers know Calvin doesn't have that blazing speed he had earlier in his career. The Dallas writers based their selection on that assumption.

See this is a more level headed response. I wonder if the majority who said Dez, are just living in the moment of right now.

Dez is amazing, and had a hell of a year, but I don't think you can crown somebody off of this alone, not just yet.

Dez...he does have more TD's...CJ may have more highlights...AND..he is pumped up by the media more than Dez is....so people will go with what they hear and are shown. If they don't follow either team as much, they will go with the hyped player more.

I don't watch enough Lions games to make an educated guess nor would I really want to see the Lions play. Could you go wrong with either one? Probably not. I am just happy we have Dez and that's good enough for me.

Calvin Johnson hasn't looked right all season, and I think the workload the Lions have put on him the past 4 seasons is starting to get to him.

Right now, I'll take Dez over Johnson; Dez has just looked better. Before this season, it was Johnson all the way.

Dez has a better QB and better supporting cast. I don't think Megatron has been 100% healthy this season.

Dez just on his age alone. Calvin has peaked and is now starting the downwards slope. Dez can still go higher. This is not a who is/was better, but a "now" determination.
