I never saw Cam fitting in with New England. I guarantee you his missing 5 days for the misunderstanding played into his release. Also Mac played well and Cam seams like a limelight type of player, it’s hard to imagine him in a backup roll but it’s clear he was a distraction. He was only making 3.5m guaranteed, so idk it seams that Cam messed up because that’s not a lot for a backup. I think it probably had to do with making sure Mac feels secure.

didn't say washed up said he could be very good backup and that should be his goal unless he waits for an injury into the season for stating shot ,that all he has right now OR Retire

Ive watched football since i was 10 all as Cowboys fan and played hs ball still do athletic things understand sports and age..you are overrating him im not underrating him..just saying he should find his way to a great backup situation..

Hey, it wasn't a try, It was an educated guess. I just figured you weren't old enough to remember many of those QBs from the past.

I don't think you're underrating him by much. He's not that good anymore. But I just think he has enough left given the right circumstances. I try to leave my personal opinion of him out of my judgement. I'm not saying you do or not, I just think a lot of fans predict what they hope.

only players with less than 4 accrued seasons are subject to the waiver wire...
