Newton was the only NFL starting QB last season, minimum 13 starts, who threw more picks than TDs.

They didn't release league MVP Newton. That guy hasn't been around in years.

Those are the facts...taking out anything any other factors, ( not reasonable just asking) do you think he still has enough to be a better backup than Rush. I don't see the Cowboys signing him though...

Coming from another one of those that don't even watch the games. Cam would be great depth, but he wants to start I imagine. He can do that in Houston.

I agree but here's the issue though......the season is about to start now....who's going to have him start week 1 at this point? I can't see anyone.

To me Dallas would be a risk for his career but it makes sense with Dak coming off the injury. You have solid weapons and you can audition for another job next year to show what you can do. To me its take a shot at Dak getting hurt like Dalton did last year or hope something opens up with a team like the Commanders but even then if Fitz loses that spot i'd have to think it would go to Taylor Heineke(?).

Bad Can is better than Rush, as is Brian Hoyer.
But not so sure Cam wants to ride the bench.

Looking around the league, I don't really see where he would be the clear starter.
In Chicago, Dalton is just a placeholder for Fields.
I think Taylor in Houston is probably better than Cam at this stage, plus he has looked good thru the offseason.

they are going to be a physical team again this year. Buffalo is probably going to have issues when they play them this year. They can line up and stop the run and they can run on anyone. New England being the underdog in the east is weird but this year it is true and I would not be shocked if just because of their physicality they steal the division again.

Buffalo's flaw is running the ball and I am not sure they are better at it this year.

I think they are the underdogs but their strengths matchup well with the bills weaknesses
