2015 MLB Ballpark Experience Rankings
By Paul Swaney -- October 16, 2015 9:26 AM EDT

We've reevaluated every single ballpark in MLB during the 2015 season and come up with our rankings of the best overall fan experience. Baltimore's Oriole Park at Camden Yards tops our list for the second straight season, and even achieved a rare perfect score. It's been a tough year for Baltimore, but it's good to know that the Charm City will always have Camden.

We rate each stadium using our FANFARE scale which includes assessing the food and beverage in the ballpark, the overall atmosphere, the neighborhood where the stadium is located, the fans, the access (which includes parking, traffic, restrooms, and handicap accessibility), the overall return on investment, and any special or unique features. We utilize the ratings of our readers and members as the primary tiebreaker, and encourage you to share your ratings of any of the ballparks.

Thanks for reading, and without further ado, here are the updated Stadium Journey 2015 MLB ballpark experience rankings:

  1. Oriole Park at Camden Yards - Home of the Baltimore Orioles

Oriole Park at Camden Yards was a bold statement in that the overall fan and family experience became more and more important. Since its opening every major league stadium built has taken its cues from the Baltimore Orioles home field. Sure, some stadiums do some things better (and some much worse) but they owe it all to Baltimore’s crown jewel. When people think of baseball, Oriole Park at Camden Yards is often one of the first places to come to mind. Baseball and the fan experience were changed dramatically upon its opening, and it still offers a great, traditional place to watch a baseball game.

I guess they don't factor winning into the experience equation. ;)

Maybe you ought to go check that out and see which AL team has the most regular season wins since 2012. Then you can come back and post it here in this thread.

Eh Kauffman gets hit hard for the "neighborhood" aspect, but the isolation of the stadiums is one of my favorite aspects about it.

Wow can we cherry pick a time frame. Why go back 3 years when you can go back 20. Lets revisit those days prior to the showalter signing. Camden yards is a nice stadium, and is ultimately responsible for the "retro" style that most new stadiums are stylized by. I have been to New Yankees Stadium, New Busch, Nats Stadium and Phillies Stadium, Rangers Stadium and I think those are nicer stadiums by far than Camden Yards. The only reason to go to Camden is for Boog's beyond that, it seems like half their concessions are always closed, food is left to sit out "warming" for expediency but it still takes 20 minutes to get a hot dog or sausage.

If you think the Nats stadium is nicer than Camden Yards you have basically said that your own opinion on the matter is worth nothing.

I've only been to the Ranger's ball park but from watching on tv Pittsburg's seems to be the coolest by far.

Really dude? Still? Your obsession is borderline psychotic.

He still has a guilty conscience for his obsessive defending of the Cheatriots knowing full well they have 4 tainted Lombardis as cheaters. Its his way of coping with the inner turmoil and dissatisfaction.
