Can anyone else just simply not stand Ron Jaworski?

His analysis is so bad and his delivery on camera makes me cringe.

he's one of the loud-mouth braggarts every NFL coverage station has to have

but he is on point when breaking down QBs

The guy is the BIGGEST homer of ANY analyst that I have ever heard.

The Eagles could be 4-6 and he'd be saying "Look out for the Eagles..." blah, blah, blah....BUT, I do like his breakdowns.

I hate the way he talks. Can't stand it.

it's like...

Tony Romo goes through his progressions * pause *

But still delivers the ball on tiiiime.

I like him. I always learn something from his tape breakdowns, which are well done.

Jaworski can be a homer at times, but I think he's one of the more insightful analysts ESPN has to offer.

Schelerth and Hoge are the ones I don't like. Jaws is a homer, but he just loves Romo. I have resisted watching ESPN, but I was channel surfing today and I saw Jaws talking about Romo, and predicted that he would have a bounce back game and the 'Boys would win, 24-20.

So to me Jaws is alright, compared to the other two, and the one I can not absolutely stand and the biggest reason that I am not watching ESPN is John Clayton.

Jaws is like the national version of Norm Hitz-gas (where did Norm get that horrible Northeast'an accent?) Both are an acquired taste. :)

seriously? I love john clayton.

I think he's by far the best football guy ESPN has.

Most of them have schtick, he always seems neutral to me. Much like Gosselin, when I hear Clayton on the radio I'll usually listen.

He's definately better than that phony "expert" Kiper.

Clayton is the Norm (Cheers) of ESPN, full of worthless, useless, made up information.

That's funny.

He is awkward when delivering his lines. You can tell he's trying to make his voice more lively and likeable (hours and hours of vocal coaching), but he just can't quite overcome his own stiffness.

I like him o.k. though. I think he's less cocky than some of the other analysts. He also seems like a decent guy.

Sure he is a homer but.... I think he spends more time actually studying tape and breaking stuff down then any other analyst to be honest. I mean M. Irvin is a huge homer too but he just pulls stuff out of his *** really. Jaws really tries to study both the teams he comments on and especialy the QB's. I wish all the analysts were as diligent.

I too actually enjoy him.

It's Shlereth that irritates me.

Ditto.

I like Clayton too. It's Berman and Theisman I can't handle.

Sorry, I think he's pretty damn good. I also don't think he's a "homer."

I can live with him because I've gotten used to dissecting his analysis by now and knowing what is good and what's really bad. He always sticks up for any QB, no matter how poorly they player or how untalented they are. He is a huge Eagles homer and his delivery on camera is ridiculous. I don't mind him for the most part, but I can see why many people think he's a clown.
