Can Beasley be our Danny Amendola?

After the Chi-town game and watching Beasley emerge more..

and then watching the Pats play Sunday Night against the Chargers..

It startled me to compare what Amendola\Brady paralleled Romo\Beasley.

Have we found the missing ingredient we need to get to the playoffs?

Intelligent remarks only and over the top praise for Cowboy players allowed in this tread without limit.

Thanx.

amendola is a nobody. beasley has better numbers than him this year. in fact if beasley scores one more td this year, he'll have more than amendola's season high.

Amendola has been nothing but a disappointment for the Patriots...they expected him to be their cheaper Welker.

I think you missed my point.

Its the role both play in the offense to their QBs.

Ever since Patrick Drayton got released I think there has been something missing from Romo's game.

Crayton was Romo's blanket and produced huge plays at important times.

I see Beasley in that role now.

I always wished we would have kept Amendola for sure.

Then Beasley is the new Crayton?

Crayton did more damage than good.

On and off the field. He was a drama queen and licked the sweat off of TO's jock.

I can't forgive his ineptitude in the giants playoff game. Perennial loser when the chips were down.....you owe the Beastly an apology.

I'd like to think we have higher hopes for Beasley than Danny Amendola.

I disagree. Crayton was a GREAT #3 here. Especially in recent memory I can't think of a better #3. He was very reliable. He and TO were friends. But this locker room was a mess in itself. I won't put that single handedly on Crayton.

Amendola isn't Brady's security blanket. Amendola not only has been a disappointment for the Pats he has been downright bad this season. One should want Beasley to be more than what Amendola is. If Beas is only Amendola at least he is a lot cheaper than Danny.

Amendola was glass when he was here, glass as a Ram and glass as Pat.

i'll be tickled pink just to have Beasley be Beasley. I never really got into the comparisons cause while there could be a reminder or two of players in how they accomplish their goals with their own unique physical talents, and enjoy what they bring to the table. it just seems to me when people start comparing a role player to a well known NFL player in "he reminds me of..." people tend to hold said player to upper standards.

hey, if he makes it there, great. he's short, so yea, I see the comparison. I won't lie, it's a lot of fun to watch goldilocks run down the field for a TD. just doesn't happen often enough for players like Beasley.

if we make it because of his accomplishments, then we made it because of team accomplishments, not cole. now the role he plays in the team kinda up to him but he seems to do the most he can with what he's got.

Thank you. Apparently people forget we cut him.

People forget that Dallas kept him on the practice squad the entire season and wanted to keep him, but Philly signed him off after the year was over and he accepted their offer.
