Can Beasley be our Danny Amendola?

People forget that Dallas kept him on the practice squad the entire season and wanted to keep him, but Philly signed him off after the year was over and he accepted their offer.

Apparently I forgot what happened with him too.

Beasley can be a consistent 55-60 catch WR for at least the next 3-4 years. My only concern is his body being able to absorb the amount of hits he'll take in that middle short zone from LBs, Ss and even DL. Probably the only Cowboys pass catcher who is able to consistently create space purely on route running.

Welker--Amendola--Edelman--Beasley, hmmm what do they all have in common? I wonder......Actually, I think Beasley is our modern day Kelvin Martin, minus the punt returns.

I said this last year before the season. He is shifty and hard to cover.

I'd like to think we have higher hopes for Beasley than Danny Amendola.

I disagree. Crayton was a GREAT #3 here. Especially in recent memory I can't think of a better #3. He was very reliable. He and TO were friends. But this locker room was a mess in itself. I won't put that single handedly on Crayton.

Crayton was an awesome #3, no doubt about it.

Amendola was glass when he was here, glass as a Ram and glass as Pat.

That's been his problem.
He's talented enough, but the dude has a hard time stringing even two games together due to health issues.

After the Chi-town game and watching Beasley emerge more..

and then watching the Pats play Sunday Night against the Chargers..

It startled me to compare what Amendola\Brady paralleled Romo\Beasley.

Have we found the missing ingredient we need to get to the playoffs?

Intelligent remarks only and over the top praise for Cowboy players allowed in this tread without limit.

Thanx.

Beasly will be in New England after his contract.

Isn't Cole a Free Agent after this season? Almost looks like we are showcasing him for another team.

It amazes me that the Patriots keep winning. I watched their game a couple weeks ago vs the Colts. The whole time I kept thinking how in the heck is this happening? They have 1 and 1/2 stars in Brady and Gronkowski; that is it. They keep winning though.

Seriously. No offense to anyone, but I hate this obsession a portion of the fan base has with wanting a small, handy, white WR.

Now we just need a modern day Harper. Not sure T. Williams is the guy.......

Were you sure Harper was the guy during his second regular season before the playoffs started?

Harper had some incredible moments during his career; however, he went through long periods where he just disappeared from the offense.
