Can one of you refresh my memory of this cheapshot?

I don't see how, Cartwright isn't ever in on punts and if it was Gramatica, Cartwright returned the kicks, so it's literally impossible to have the play like 30 yards away from him.

Sorry, but your reading comprehension skills are suspect.

Go here, and read the entry under "Here comes McBriar" and "The drops beginning to mount".

Hey, if you decide to run with the ball in football, your going to get hit. And do you expect Taylor to go easy because it's a punter?

I don't expect taylor to go easy cause he was a punter.....

I expect him to go easy because everyone else does in that circus of a game.

But hey. Why not cap off the worst DB play from last year with a good ole knockout shot to a punter.

Maybe you just don't know your circus act of a team as well as you think you do?

If anyone was guessing that firehawk just doesn't know his team that well....you were right.

From our game with Washington - the plays where Cartwright was involved in punt coverage.

4-8-WAS12 (10:59) (Punt formation) D.Frost punts 48 yards to DAL 40, Center-E.Albright. T.Newman to WAS 46 for 14 yards (R.Cartwright).

4-18-DAL31 (12:20) (Punt formation) M.McBriar punts 59 yards to WAS 10, Center-L.Ladouceur. A.Randle El to WAS 24 for 14 yards (A.Elam).
PENALTY on WAS-R.Cartwright, Unnecessary Roughness, 12 yards, enforced at WAS 24.

;)

I don't know our special teamers, either.

You get +3 for the stats but you get a -2 for the white text.

Hey atleast you didn't whine for about 10 posts about knowing exactly where a player plays on special teams and "he couldn't have done something like that", when you didn't really know.

:laugh2:

So I guess "literally impossible" just doesn't mean what it used to these days!?!? ;)

I would put the vid up of the play I cant right now though, possibly later if I get a chance., mcbriar was a step or two out of bounds and cartwright came and hit him in the back, right on the cowboys sideline.

Its funny reading through this thread.

It is simple.

Williams caught a TON of flak from the Commander clueless in 2005 because he hit Rod Smith senseless and he was a WR and actually playing.

Yet, Taylor's act of manliness made sig lines this year.

Hypocrisy is an amazing thing.

I remember watching Lavar Arrington while at Penn St. cream the opposing teams punter. He would wait at the line of scrimmage while the punt coverage team went down field. Once the punter started jogging forward he would just nail them. The punter was not expecting to get hit because no one usually attempts to block the punter. It was legal and within the rules, but it was still a cheap shot. Cartwrights shot on McBriar was not like that because the play was toward the sideline. It was just a late hit.

no no, he'd untie them from each shoe then tie them together and make the person trip. See he "knocked" them down.

I'm pretty sure he would just down them somewhere inside the 5 yard line
