Can someone tell me what TO did to cause this team internal problems this year? And if you mention the accidental OD or oversleeping then you are reaching.

He didn't. If you read any comments by the players, they all love the guy and want him back.Cajuncowboy;1330124 said:Can someone tell me what TO did to cause this team internal problems this year? And if you mention the accidental OD or oversleeping then you are reaching.

chinch;1330178 said:he was a distraction overall and i'm sure a nuisance to coaches. not someone to set a good example on young players...
"training camp" didn't want to practice hard.
"rat" and "trust" comments with coach haley
"overdose" nonsense then mad bill didn't phone him
"not used enough" even though he was butterfingers
late to practices/meetings.
etc.
nope, i watched the games and wanted to bring him here. don't watch espn or base nfl opinions on video games as many here seem to do. TO's TDs made no difference in outcomes of games (except AZ) and stunk vs the nfc east games in particular.Don Corleone;1330196 said:I'll give him a break on the butterfingers. He did have hand/finger problems this year, and played through injury. Secondly, he has always dropped passes, but the media brought it to light this year more than ever. Don't let the media cloud your perception. He scored plenty of TDs, and left quite a few more on the field.
Beware of ESPN. Consider yourself sucked! :laugh2:

How about not listening to Parcells explain how the team should move forward after the Atlanta game...sharing his vision and plan for the playoff push...obviously the team needed to listen to BP's lessons from that speech, but didn't. Either way, if Owens is so arrogant as to think he doesn't need to listen to his coach, did he have to tell the media? Again, I don't love or hate him..in fact, I lean toward defending him usually, but it's clear he's immature and can trouble around a team.Don Corleone;1330196 said:I'll give him a break on the butterfingers. Yeah, that was a great way for BP to handle the situation, but it doesn't really address the point: Owens couldn't resist poking at BP through the media. The simple fact that the coach and player admit the player enjoys "sucking" the fans and media in should cause some concern. Why can't he just be a normal player that plays well on the field and doesn't play games with the coach via the media?theogt;1330307 said:Consider yourself sucked.
Or it could simply mean that the player sucks the media in with non-sense. Again, consider yourself sucked.step;1330312 said:Yeah, that was a great way for BP to handle the situation, but it doesn't really address the point: Owens couldn't resist poking at BP through the media.
