Can we bottle the 1st half D vs GB?

At halftime, I was pumped. I'm sure most of you were too. We were finally playing great football on both sides of the ball and taking care of business. 26-3! And the D looked great!

Then the 2nd half happened.

So the question is, is it even remotely possible for us to bottle what we did in the 1st half and apply it to the rest of this season? We're obviously very short on defensive talent, but whatever we did in the 1st half was working. I haven't re-watched the game (and don't plan to), so does anyone know if we changed anything major in the 2nd half?

In the 1st half, guys were flying around, making big-time tackles and we even got a pick. Did we blitz less in the 2nd half? Different personnel looks?

Or did Green Bay simply figure us out and exploit what was previously working for us?

Durant, Sims and Selvie were all injured and missed most or all of the 2nd half.

Although the defense played better in the first half, green bay missed a couple plays that should have converted 3rd downs and kept drives alive.

Matt Flynn missed a lot of throws in the first half that he didn't miss in the second. The first half wasn't great defense, it was bad quarterbacking and bad play calling.

Yep, Matt Flynn is horrible. The only real surprise is how we let him do anything in the second half.

Unfortunately, even Cousins is far better than he is.
