Can we talk about Mo?

While I am highly encouraged by what I saw from Mo which was some serious lockdown action, may I just make one suggestion? Can we give him a few weeks before we start to let the anointing oil simmer? After all, this is Mo we're talking about.

You know what? Had Mo had a terrible game there would've been a million threads saying cut him and "I Told You so...". So if anyone wants to give him credit for starting his season off right? I won't say anyone should be calm. We overreact when things are going bad.......i'll welcome it when things are going good lol.

he is now 1/1 in looking like a first round cb in games that hes healthy. Looking forward to seeing him try to build off that. Crazy what can happen when all you have to think about is playing.

I think the Wilcox hit on OBJ had more to do with his poor game than Mo.. But so far so good.

one game hes teh best EVA, no CB has ever been that great. he tore it up. hes the standard for all HoF players in the history of the league.

I'm not going to anoint him or anything like that but this offseason I said it wouldn't surprise me if he had a solid year. Everything pointed to it. Its still early and he could be terrible next week. BUT, he's in a contract year, gained some weight, got in to better shape and had the first offseason of his career without being hurt. I think all of the above have atleast allowed for him not to look as outmatched. He won't face many receivers as good as ODB this year.

Exactly. ITs almost like people didn't want him to have a good game so they can say "I told you so....". There were guys here who had Byron Jones ahead of him on the depth chart.
