I'll take these six Teams from the NFC (your thoughts):

Philadelphia, Dallas, NY Giants, Minnesota, New Orleans, Arizona

Tell me your opinions and if this is so, what the opening Matchups would be?

I'd add Atlanta & remove the Giants maybe.

lol@giants in the post season esp the way they have been playing. like Vinnie said lets rehash this in ~4 weeks when the situations of who needs to win and who they need to lose come into play

The head to head matchups of some of these teams is going to be key. Glad we already have one vs the Falcons.

Lets stop talking about cowboys in playoffs because of a few good games. Boys looking solid, but it's a long road ahead.

It is but you gotta be a little giddy if we get past Green Bay because we should get to 9-2 if we can beat them.

Hopefully Minny and New Orleans start losing.

If we can hang on and win the division (A huge if) but don't get a first round bye, things actually shape up pretty nicely IMO as we would be playing in a dome in the divisional and championship rounds instead of cold weather. Domed teams have a much lower home winning % in the playoffs than do outdoor teams.

Beating out Minny for the second bye isnt out of the question, however. It's unlikely, but if we can keep playing like we are (Again, huge if) we should be 9-2 headed into December with a chance to finish strong.

Why cant we talk about the playoffs? It has no affect on anything.

Im dying for Cincy/Hou.

The matchups I made suck. Id rather Minny/Atl & Ari/Philly

What happens if on week 17 Giants vs Minny a Giants win puts them in but gives us the bye?

Perhaps this will help...Schedules of the Gints and Philthy:

Gints: Bye, Atlanta, @ Denver, Dallas, Philadelphia, @ Washington, Carolina, and @ Minnesota.

Philthy: @ San Diego, @ Chicago, Washington, @ Atlanta, @ Gints, San Francisco, Denver, @ Dallas

Here's Dallas' Schedule:
@ Green Bay
Washington
Oakland
@ Gints
San Diego
@ New Orleans
@ Washington
Philadelphia

It's conceivable that the Gints could lost the next 4 games as well.

Tests for each team:
Gints: Atlanta, Denver, Dallas, Philadelphia, and Minnesota....Carolina could be if they keep playing well. 5 possibly 6

Philthy: San Diego, Chicago, Atlanta, Gints, Denver, and Dallas. 6

Dallas: Iffy on the GB one....I personally don't see us having a tough time but you never know up there. But the Gints, San Diego, New Orleans and Philthy will be tests for us. 4 possibly 5....mostly in December once again.

unsure of the match ups but i agree in full. In terms of sheer talent (if that got you to the playoffs alone ) then yes. I sort of think only two nfc east this year though. giants or eagles , maybe even us *knocks on wood* will choke. our schedule is brutal though wow.

Nobody is beating out the Saints IMO. Looking at Minnesota's schedule, I see only 3 potential losses remaining. Outside of that they play Detroit, Seattle, Chicago twice and Carolina. They'll win 12 games minimum unless something significant and unforseen occurs.

We have a much tougher schedule
