Hes never had a legit defense lol, you need one to win the Superbowl
I'll say this, we do need an edge rusher, and a bully defensive tackle. Somehow, we're good at finding linebackers right now, but we need help in the free safety world. I would also consider getting a better return guy and at least have him compete with Harris.

You can't throw the ball away in the pocket - it's grounding, same as a sack, worse depending on penalty yardage. And Romo, is not chucking it anywhere unless he is certain it can't be picked.

So he either has to take the pocket sack or scramble hoping to extend the play. Sometimes it works , sometimes not.

But he gave his team every chance to win. The kicker failed, the defense failed, the RB failed, and the refs failed.

Actually, I'm going to change my tone. I've had time to reflect now. I actually went to ESPN and read an article about the Dez catch, and listened to all the comments on there and the comments on there just made me look at things differently, so I'm going to change my tone and this is why.

To me, I thought a lot of us could have done things differently in this game, but for once in my life, I think that we may actually be a defensive line away from being a True Super Bowl contender.

I have to apologize for the things I said about Romo, I take them all back. I"m no longer going to blame this on Romo but the entire team. Romo is a small school QB, who has come a long way and has climbed all the way up to this day on sheer heart. The guy has taken some beatings, played with a bad back, took shots all year long and just kept coming.

Romo has done some wonderful things this year, that's why I've been Team Romo most of the year. I do believe still he made major mistakes in this game, but I also think that collectively, we just really had no legit chance. This defense is put together with duct tape. I believe that even if that Dez touch down was not called back, we would have lost the game because Aaron Rodgers figured out that we could not afford to blitz him, he would have ample time to throw, and that alone indicated to me that they would have just marched down the field, ran the clock out and just kicked a field goal to win it.

Until this team puts ALL resources in DT/ 2 Edge rushers minimum, 1 free safety and one offensive linemen, we can't compete on a regular basis, legitimately, with the Green Bay's of the world.

I'm also changing my theme and saying, I DO think Romo can win a Super Bowl. I'm not as irate as I was, even an hour ago, it's time for me to just let it go and get on Romo's bandwagon. If I'm being honest., secretly, he's made me proud this year. That little duffus darn near messed around and won an MVP, he just doesn't complain, he just goes out there and makes things happen.

I apologize to everyone here tonight, I made a fool of myself and years' past. My biggest apology is for Hostile. I said some of the most hateful things and had some of the most bitter sparrings with Him back before he quit being an Admin, it's just a freaking game. Hostile is a legend to me and I wish that he would post here more often. Earlier last year, I almost had a tragic death, and getting in to it with fellow brothers is just not worth it for me.

Romo was heroic this year, and I pray that Jerry Jones smells blood in the water, and puts an identical Runner as Murray except faster, get a better back up QB for Romo, build an amazing defensive line, and find speed speed speed at free safety.

I'm going to just chill out from here, MOSTLY, lol. I"m sorry again, it was a wonderful year, and let's just get ready to come back next year because with this offensive line, we are always going to be a contender from now until Romo retires.

Go Cowboys!

We're all on the same side here, man. Everyone is upset after that game and rightfully so.

Blame...no, but his QB rating is misleading. Less than 200 yards passing and only 21 points against the GB defense is not enough. He struggled to find receivers at times...were they covered? Only film study will show, but when your offense only scores 21 points through lots of opportunities, the QB always shoulders part of the responsibility, not blame.

Less than 200 yards passing, yeah, but he only threw the ball 19 times.

If we make the field goal and Demarco doesn't fumble with nothing but green in front of him, that's potentially 10 points. Is 31 enough? If that catch by Dez is ruled a catch, like it sure as hell should be, that's another 7. How about 38? Is that enough?

Sure he gets it and the play succeeded. He did nothing wrong. That was a possibly game-winning play.
Finally, for the 1st time all game, Dez get one on one and Romo sees it and let's his best player go get it. This had happened several times this year with success. Everyone was thrilled then.
Now,the refs overturn a clear catch, and he should lose his nads and not go to Dez?
Come on.
That's total hindsight and you know it.

With 4 minutes on the clock its a stupid play. I don't know how any knowledgable football fan can argue otherwise.

Oh, here we go with the "if you don't agree with my opinion, you lack knowledge when it comes to the game of football." God forbid that someone not have the same point of view you do, truly a sin.

So, I guess the only reason we didn't sustain drives for TD's, had only 1 FG attempt, and scored only 21 points is the fault of Murray and the refs.....Okay....then Romo should receive a game ball...he was incredible....fantastic....best game I've seen him play....mybad.

11.7 yds per attempt

if you knew anything about football you would realize just how clueless that comment was as regards YPA

There was plenty of blame to go around in this game. On that 3rd and 1, Romo completely mishandles the snap and pretty much killed the play. Romo took some unnecessary sacks as well. Murrays fumble was huge, that really hurt us. Not recovering the fumble by Cobb on the kickoff when we were right there hurt, the defense not quite doing a good enough job, bad play call on that 3rd and 1, should have ran it up the gut, and more. The loss can't be blamed on any one player IMO. It was a team loss. With that said, I wish Aaron Rodgers was our QB. He showed why he is the MVP. He is clearly the best QB in football right now.

But is what the NFL wants to stand for...........a coach going for it on 4th down, a maligned QB throwing the perfect ball at a time in the game he's been roasted for over the years........a receiver completing the tri-fector with a great catch who then goes down by contact....................all of it then penalized by the NFL who had a guy with a diff opinion on a grey rule that doesn't apply

......and last week the NFL poured out sympathy for Detroit---who's coach refused to go for it on 4th and 1, whose QB instead of trying to make a play, attempted to draw a PI call..............there the NFL and media rewarded them for taking no risk, no decisions of note.......

I'm honestly a little shocked that some folks are bagging on Romo. That guy played his heart out yesterday and this entire season, so did the rest of this team. If Dez just lands on his back instead of extending then this thread doesn't even exist right now.

Green Bay was 8-0 at home this season for a reason. That is a fantastic football team at home and Aaron Rodgers was mind-bogglingly good against very little pressure from the defensive front. Green Bay was the better team. Even if Dallas scored, the defense had shown no ability to stop Green Bay. Rodgers and Co. were abusing the defense on their three last possessions before they sat on the ball to end the game. The better team won. It really does stink and I hate it, but they did.

This entire team played hard for four quarters. They deserve better than what some of these so-called fans are giving them today.

Thanks Tony Romo and the rest of the Dallas Cowboys for playing the game the right way the entire season. I absolutely loved watching this year's team play football.
