You need a guy that the defense gets tired of tackling. Like #24 for the Falcons today.

The cowboys need to understand that the guys we have now are ALL THE SAME GUY.

You need a guy that when a CB comes up to tackle him...that CB will get thumped and his coverage will suffer the rest of the day.

You need a guy that will wear out a defense. #24 for the Falcons today would go for 200 yards behind our OL!!

wasn't that Philly's game plan against us..........we saw how well that worked for them......we made them one-dimensional, Falcons did the same to us.

Once it was apparent our D wasn't going to match up... Linehan needed to open things up and TWill needed to make some catches. Escobar? the new WR speed/size deep?

They came out of halftime tired? Because #24 kicked our butt from end of the half , on to the start of the second half.

lol. CMike wouldn't have done much either, when the Falcons didn't respect Weeden's arm and were ready for the run.

You can't control a game when you can't protect the QB and can't get to their QB. It wasn't the RBs or the backup QB who were the problem today.

sure it was. For the way we wanted to play....we wanted to hammer them with the running game for 4 quarters. Not the 1st quarter. Hitting the homerun with our RB was nice...but he was DONE after that. There are 3 quarters left to play! We want to hammer teams...but you cannot hammer a team with a q-tip!

You just can't win in the NFL when you are completely one dimensional. The Falcons figured out what we were going to do and they adjusted with the formations and man power. I can't blame the RBs.

Any weakness will be exploited until you prove you can still perform.

You think the issues with the running game in the second half were with the RBs? I'm not sure I saw a single rush where there was so much as a crease for a RB to run through. If Murray or any other power RB in the league were in there, it would have been the exact same result.

The running backs were not the problem. Mr. Dump Off was the problem. Atlanta adjusted and Weeden still through underneath the defense.

Exactly. Put 8 in the box because you know the QB can't beat you down field.

Weeden had PLENTY of time until a few plays at the end

It doesn't matter who the RB is. ATL was stacking the box in the 2nd half. At some point the offense is going to have to make plays down the field or every team is going to do the same thing.

And he was effective finding the open WRs. You confident that somehow we had WRs running open downfield that he was just missing? Or do you want him forcing the ball more into coverage to Terrence Williams or Devin Street? Which is it?
