The thought of us missing the playoffs at 10-6 makes me as sick as the thought of playing a meaningless game Sundaynite.

Some here have said that losing to the Rams with our destiny in our own hands is the worst case senario. I COULD NOT DISAGREE MORE.
If we lose Sundaynite then we didn't deserve the playoffs and I could live with that.
What I can't live with is having nothing to play for. To miss the playoffs off a win and thinking what could have been.

I do and will appreciate the drama of potentially watching three games in one day that mean so much to our Cowboys.

What's really killing me is that I just can't get a handle on our chances.
What percent of the time do you see a 4 or a 7 point home dog win straight up?

If you were to make a proposition bet in Vegas:
Atlanta or Philly winning outright, what odds would you get?

I see ATLANTA with about a 40% chance and Philly with about a 30% chance.

Assuming my numbers are right....What % chance do we have of a meaningful game Sundaynite? IS IT 50/50?

No. The killer would be knowing we're eliminated by kickoff time, then winning a meaningless game and falling several slots in the draft. That's the nightmare scenario.

Knowing our fate at kickoff time is exactly what were looking at. And if that fate is bad it's really gonna suck.

If anything this year has been entertaining and thrilling. As much as any I can remember.
It would be tragic to see it go out with a thud!

Based upon your odds on the games ahead of us, its 58%.
Odds that both Carolina and Skins win = (6/10 * 7/10)=42%.
Meaning there is a 58% chance one will lose and we will play a meaningful game.

I think there is a about a 20% chance the skins win...would agree atlanta has about a 40% chance.

Assuming you mean % chance of winning, then we need to calculate the odds that one or the other, or both will win, which is the inverse of both of them loosing. Using your numbers, Atlanta has a 60% chance of loosing and Philly 70%.

60% x 70 % = 42% chance that both will loose, equals a 58% chance that at least one will win.
