Cant wait to see how good Canty, Ware, Spears, Burnett, Barber and even Crayton get over the summer...The future is bright with these guys IMO...star potential for maybe three of them...if that happens...and it could...two years from now our D will be the best in football...as long as they get a linebacker or two and a safety....which we will this offseason.

The 2 wild cards IMO that you left off are Ratliff and Johnson. I was very impressed with what Ratliff did until his injury and the intensity that Johnson played with at the end. Although, I think it is a must to grab atleast 2 LBs in FA and/or draft. My first choices would be:
John Abraham - OLB
Carpenter - ILB (Surprise Move)

I'll take Carpenter. I too want to see Beriault, he really impressed me in that one pre-season game.

Just the fact that he was always around the ball.

It's actually just at QB and WR for me, but oh man, tell me about it...
I do think and hope Crayton can be a player. But I don't think he'll ever be a #1 WR type. Right now he's a solid #3. In time could become a solid #2 I think. We need to get someone who can become a #1 WR, maybe in the draft.

I agree with you totally. He's going to be a monster in a year or two. I love Canty. Between him, Ware and Spears we should get good things on defense for a while hopefully.

Crayton can have a productive future, but someone really has to teach him to run with a lean. He runs too straight up for my liking and defesive players love it.

We should have a young awsome defense. It is our over the hill offense that has me worried (at least in all the skill position besides TE and RB).

I to thought Beriault showed promise in the preseason. The was representing that #40 jersey well. He went to college 40 mins away from me which I think is pretty cool.

WR is the only skill position remaining...

our offense is not THAT old...we got somet guys getting up there but they can still produce so they arent TOO old...

we draft or sign one young WR and we are a very young team

Hope it changes but we don't have the best record of our young players actually getting better the longer they stay here.
