The Cleveland Cavaliers have reached an agreement in principle to acquire Phoenix Suns center Shaquille O’Neal(notes), a league source told Yahoo! Sports late Thursday night.
Cleveland will send Ben Wallace(notes), Sasha Pavlovic(notes), the 46th pick in Thursday’s draft and cash to the Suns for O’Neal.

i dont really like it for the cavs that much keeping lebron past next season wise. at least they will have a LOT of cap space to sign a wade/bosh if lebron does decide to stay next season

I doubt Wade or Lebron would leave there teams to play with each other. big egos and both want to be "the man".

I would just like to say goodnight NBA. It's getting pretty disgusting for the Cavs now. We're talking 82-0 here.

Here's my two cents...
Shaq will not play every game in the regular season of course. This move was strictly made for the playoffs where they have every other day off. Also puts a big body on Howard and forces him to shoot his garbage hook shot ALA Kendrick Perkins. LeBron will bring the Cavs the best record in the NBA all by himself. No problem there. From what I hear they arn't done yet. They still want a versitile wingplayer. Shawn Marion or Villenueva would be amazing. Here's the best part. Shaqs 20 mil will come off the books next year. D-wade or Chris Bosh anyone?? GREAT MOVE!!!!! This gets LeBron a ring this year and keeps him fat and happy. Shaq goes bye-bye and clears 20 mil. Then it's LeBron and Bosh for the next 6-7 years. I love this plan.

I've hear rumblings that Cavs are really slurping Darozen. They want to move up and take him. This guy is a straight up baller and would have been top 5 pick last year coming out of highschool. He can be LeBrons Pippen.

False. Wade will be 29 when he's a FA. He already has his ring. If he's smart he'll team up with the best player in the world(LeBron) and reak havoc for 3-4 years.
