In a normal season Brown would just be inactive for a couple of games, with the new 3 game IR teams are going to make moves like this. The only difference is the amount of fan rueage.

Absolutely. The team was smart to add an extra OT with let Brown rest. With Lewis back, he likely was inactive regardless.

I think a lot of fans don't get how big a deal it was for Dallas to have two healthy OTs last week, with one of them a rookie UDFA. That kills you late in a game.

In my opinion, not a big loss, outside of depth at the position. The likes of Awuzie, Worley are as good, if not better players and Lewis easily slides into playing the slot.

Perfect timing. Every WR on the Falcons team had a 100 yard day last week.

Things are going to be tenuous during the first half of the season.

If Tyron can’t play this game might not even be close unless a few players really step up. If we lose tomorrow good luck limping into Seattle 0-2 and getting a win there. It’s only week 2 but this is a huge game for the Cowboys. About as close to a must win as you can get this early in the season. If we dig ourselves an 0-3 hole we’re pretty much done unless the NFC East is worse than last year.

More bad news for the Cowboys, now Brown is on IR with a rib injury!

Not a big dropoff (if any) from Brown to Lewis. Not much more from Brown to Worley.
