You are being kind to BJ calling him an unknown. I think most know what we have in him, a good player who is versatile but more a jack of all trades than master of one. Which FS is on your radar with a premium pick? I have several SS's early on like Josh Jones from NC.
I personally wouldn't go FS but hypothetically speaking, it would be trading up if Malik Hooker falls or taking Budda Baker at 28 or a trade down. I much prefer the SS class with either Josh Jones in the 2nd and Eddie Jackson or Xavier Woods in the 4th. I think BJ would be better for us as a movable chess piece than trying to lock him in as a single high center-field type ball-hawking safety which he clearly just isn't.
I still think the best spot for Byron would be to narrow his field of vision as a corner. He has shown good instincts and his measurables clearly prove he has great short area quickness and explosion. With the appearance of wanting to run more zone, I think moving BJ back to corner would be beneficial for him and the team.
