barron would certainly be a terrific addition at safety to go with carr. i still wouldnt mind another corner late like dequan menzie that can be had as late as the 5th round. decastro, upshaw, or hightower would be gr8 too. should we take a flyer on scott wells or hutchinson?

Jason or Jerry said that signing Carr and the guards they have picked up allows them to really pick best player available in the draft. IMHO that means if Decastro is the BPA then he is the pick. If Kirkpatrick is the BPA then he is the pick. What it means is they will not pick based on the holes or need which means in the long run they will draft and build a team the PROPER way.
When you get a player you or they find ways to contribute, when you draft for need you get Jerry's infamous back up drafts.

That is not getting cute if we can net and extra 3rd round or 2nd round pick to move down then I say great that gives us a chance to pick up another player that can contribute.

If the draft is deep enough to warrant it, if not I would hope they trade down and pick up something to make a move next year. No reason to stockpile picks if they cannot or (in Jerry's case) will not make the most of it. Wasted extra picks are just that... Wasted.

Maybe Poe becomes the pick, I don't like Ratliff at NT, he is not big enough and does not require a double team to control. true enough he does shoot the gap occasionally and disrupts the play but his job is to tie up two Olineman and he cannot do that shooting the gap. I want a fatty there that can move the crowd.
