Isn't that illegal? If a deal is done in principle wouldn't reneging on it be bad faith? I don't know how the laws in the States work.

Even if it was, you think the Cowboys are going to go after him for it?

Free agent CB Patrick Robinson is visiting the Colts on Wednesday, a source said, but the Cowboys are still very much involved.

I guess the thing with the agent was he wanted him to take the extra visit, hope tomorrow morning he signs in Dallas. Yesterday's news was that the pigeons wanted to visit with Morris and signed by the morning so let's hope for the same.

But he did actually switch agents right? I just don't see how it can be just him wanting more money and then using the agent as a cover to back out . He wouldn't have switched agents to cover for that. He just wouldn't have signed the deal. It was never official until he signed (and its nowhere close to being illegal).

Odds are its the new agent that is pushing for him to explore other deals and he is going along with it as he probably should. It doesn't necessarily mean he won't sign but there is a good chance his price may go up a bit from what they initially were talking about. Or he goes elsewhere and we move on.

If he did in fact switch agents, theres a 3 day holding period on it. Could be the new agent told him to take a visit with another interested team instead of just sitting on his hands during the waiting period.
