I fail to see how that is amusing. The very same braintrust that is looking for a CB right now once entrusted both as starters.

My guess is he was amused because of their past associations.

I don't think Mo is the next best thing to sliced bread. But if Mo can be acquired for a very cheap salary, then it is a low risk option of filling a hole. Moreover it is sort of like cheap insurance in that if he doesn't pan out or you find someone who can replace him you cut him.

It is a far better deal than overpaying for someone who has the skills of Carr. Keep in mind that getting another free agent from another team is usually perceived to be a better deal than who you had before only because you don't realize that they suck too. Lol
