TNT has a great thing going. No way they disrupt that. The Inside the NBA show is worth watching just for comedy alone. Forget the game highlights.

I could care less about the CBS crew. I very rarely watch their pregame show.

I actually like Sharpe. I really don't see the big deal about this shows and who is on them in the first place. It's not like they add or subtract from the shows. It's just one ex-football player replacing another one. And I love how no one is criticizing Marino but it's all Sharpe, Shaq?(not sure what he has to do with this) and who I like as well and can understand what he's saying and Emmitt(who equally has nothing to do with this). Shaq has been talking that way since he came into the public light. If you aren't used to him by now then I'm not sure where you've been.

Tony is well spoken and I like him but television isn't about what's good -- it's about what's interesting and I think he's going to have a hard time criticizing players for a couple of years and that's not a good thing in that position. Boomer Esiason rips people but it took him a few years away from football.

I always hated Sharpe for the diatribe he unleashed on Romo when he had a bad hand in one of the last games of the season (cant' remember which). He went off on him in a tone and manner that was personal and unprofessional. "This whole hand thing is nothing more than an excuse by Romo..."

One thing nobody can say about Romo is he NEVER uses injuries as excuses. Then I started thinking would he have ever said that about another QB and I tried inserting a name and I came to conclusion it was personal. It showed a lack of class that was embarrassing for network television.

Quick story , I called the NFL Network radio show he was hosting one day and the producer asked what I wanted to talk about and I told him I wanted to talk to Shannon about that moment...needless to say I never got on. He's lucky I didn't, they would've had to call the Nationa Guard cause I woulda killed him.

By the way - I think his brother Sterling is great and deserves a television spot.

CBS just got a ton better. Sharpe is unwatchable and Marino is boring. CBS will still be awful but less awful now.

Still waiting for Brett Favre to take one of these jobs.

Good riddance from a network I rarely watch for pre / post-game, or halftime analysis. I cannot endure that special brand of torture. Marino is a jackass and Sharpe is a marble-mouthed buffoon. Whoever said it earlier - Sharpe will fit in nicely over at the NFL Net. Maybe Shannon "Not so Sharpe" and Marshall "Faulk the Cowboys" can kill each other in a halftime celebrity death match spectacle.
