Those scores seem a little low, especially considering the numbers Dallas put up with a healthy Zeke and Tyron last year.
I agree.
Although we only scored 12 and 6 points the last two games with them, the momentum had been lost by them.

I say the average goes up this year

If they go 7-9 which is possible at this point. They will be the best 7-9 team out there. Dallas needs a stud DT,A house hold name safety and a receiver that scares people. Dallas also needs Dak to be his best self. Luck and growth changes it from 7-9 to 11-5. I know that's a swing but, its a process.

This team is far too talented for 7-9 to be acceptable. Barring a ton of injuries, that would put me firmly in the “fire Garrett” camp for the first time.

Sweeping the Giants/Commanders and beating the Colts, Bucs, Lions and Titans alone gets us to 8 wins and those are all games we should win on talent alone. 7 wins we beat nobody of similar or superior talent and dropped a game we shouldn’t.

I have them 6-10. Can't expect much with this offense. It's borderline pathetic.
Most predictable boring offense in the NFL due to the limited talents of Dak....1st down RUN 2nd down RUN 3rd down check-down 4th down Punt.....zzzzz....someone wake me up when we get a Qualified QB under center......6 wins sound about right give or take.....

One could argue that the Giants have more talent. And EVERY team we play has a better head coach.

We went 2-4 in division in 2011 on our way to 8-8. The Giants and Eagles swept us.
We went 2-4 in 2006 (9-7) and 2004 (6-10).
We went 1-5 in 2011 (5-11) and 2-4 in 2000 (5-11).

“Many years”

I think 7 years qualifies as many years, especially in football years.

We have what...maybe a long snapper still on the team from 2011?

Doesn't look like he believes in our receiver by committee scheme. We only score 30 points once - and lose that game. To be fair he only has us giving up 30 points twice.

Barring catastrophic injuries to the cow bell players, I see the schedule playing out as follows:

  • We drop the opener to Carolina. I just think its going to be a tough game even if we had more talent than what is currently available.
  • We get swept by the Eagles. They're better. Can't state it anymore simply than that.
  • We split with the Commanders and Giants. I believe both teams have gotten better. Especially the Giants...they almost have to be better based on the law of averages.
  • We get roughed up by the NFC South. In a big way. Losses to the Saints, Falcons and the aforementioned Carolina game.
  • Jacksonville will be a real test for this club. I don't think they will score a lot but I don't see the Cowboys offense doing jack squat against that defense.
  • They split with Houston and Tennessee with them doing just enough to squeak out a tough road victory at Houston. Could be the best game they play all year.
  • Week 2 win on the road at Seattle. They just lost too much on the defensive side of the ball.
  • Tampa and the Colts should be wins.......should be.
  • Lions game will be very entertaining with Dallas winning a close one.
Let the games begin.

I like how he has Seattle losing to Denver and Chicago but then beating Dallas to start 1-3.

Oddly enough he has us winning a few games I think we will lose and losing a few games I think we will win.

But in the end I think the W/L record is about right...7/9 - 9/7

He obviously doesn't understand the Home/Away dynamic for the Cowboys. 1-7 on the road and 6-2 at home? That's backwards as hell.

not sure where all the low win totals are coming from. I think Dallas has a very good chance to be a very good team this year. Great O-line and RB. Defense that can get pressure. 2 very good corners and very good LB's. I know there are holes but most teams have them. Dallas has a good core group to build around at the most important positions to win. O-line - running game - defensive pressure

Also I think Dak will have a way better year then last year and he also keeps drives going with his feet

Maybe I'm drinking the kool aid but I think this is a 11 win team.

We will win more than 2 divisional games.

Without checking, I would guess it has been many years since we had a losing divisional record.

Even when we went 5-11, I think 4 of those were divisional games.
We went 5-1 last year so yea we aren't going 2-4, LOL.
We are simply better than NYG or WAS. I'd say 3-3 minimum.

Think Prisco particularly underrates this young defense which was stellar the final month last year.
Don't see us losing to either NYG or WAS. But WAS is a possible 1-1 and we could steal one versus an aging PHI team later in the year when injuries pile up.
