hah i believe Prisco predicted Cowboys to go 5-11 in 2014.

hope he is right about the fearsome foursome.

I think he is. And not just because of the starters but because we can send waves of talented rushers at offenses. As bummed (and concerned) about the loss of Murray, I think most folks have no idea how good this Cowboys defensive line is really going to be. Gregory is going to be a force for the next ten years...and it starts THIS year. Yes, he is a rookie but he's got some sort of veteran swagger to him. He is not a typical rookie.

Prisco's ranking takes some chances. I agree with a lot of his slotting. Especially as he's got the Cardinals up higher than most rankings I've seen, and he's not afraid to drop DEN and SEA down a bit, which I also agree with.

i can agree or side with your point that GB should not be #1 on this list considering who they lost. #5 maybe. #1 No.

Some people seem to believe Cobb won't be that much of a drop off because Rodgers can make it work with anyone as opposed to Romo needing a Dez and the double teams that he brings to make help the Cowboys O work better.

Well, Rodgers did get the Packers to the Super Bowl in a year when they were decimated by injuries.

In 2011 Tony Romo made a guy who was a bust before he was in Dallas, Laurent Robinson, and a bust after he was in Dallas and the guy pushed for 1000 yards and caught 11 TD passes.

Great QBs have the ability to make even below-average to average WRs look good.

I think the loss of Nelson will hurt the Packers. I think they'll be able to replace most of his catches and yards by spreading the ball around to their other WRs, however, they aren't going to be able to replace Nelson's uncanny ability to get deep. My guess is that Nelson has had more 50+ yard TD receptions than anybody else in the NFL over the past 5 years.

Davonte Adams feasted on CB3s last year. This year he'll be facing CB1s (Cobb will typically draw the slot CB) -- it's a very big jump.

In summary, like others here, I think losing Nelson hurts them, and I certainly wouldn't rank them as #1 in the NFL going into the season, although I still think they are a playoff team.

Jordy Nelson isn't fast - he had deep ball ability?

Tell me which team will be the most healthy in January and I'll tell you who ends up at #1.

And get the breaks. Dallas will score 30+ and give up 17-21. We will have a good record.

Who runs into hot teams. Who gets a great game from an opposing QB. Who has a better TO diff. Who meets who missing one or more players.

Gotta be good and lucky.

Losing a 1,500 yd receiver is a big blow. The Pack next receiver Cobb had 1,200 yds and then Adams with 446. No way they are rated #1 without Nelson. Cobb is gonna see more double teams obviously being the #1.

Im happy to have Adams on every one of my fantasy teams

Last year Jordy Nelson became the all time leader in 40+ yard TD passes (he has 7 of them) passing Hall of Famers Jerry Rice, Bob Hayes and Elroy Hirsch to set the record.

I don't think Nelson's 40 speed jumps off the paper (I think he was a 4.5 guy) but he is a long strider and picks up speed as he goes.
