Starting offense played well, everyone else looked like crap. A decent team with a real QB would have run us out of the building.

Like some have said, the starters played well all PS so far. Not thrilled with the backups, but that's why they don't start. Over all i think we're ready for the season and look like the talented team we are.

I agree...some boneheads will focus on the lousy play of a handful of guys who wont be here a week from tomorrow, but the starters have looked really good all preseason. The ST are definitely improving and Buehler/McBriar will have a dramatic impact on field position.

Our rookie class is really getting decimated by injuries, but Buehler, Ogletree and Phillips all look like quality players. I agree with the Cowboy announcers from tonight, Ogletree could end up being a contributor THIS yr, which would be amazing.

Proctor cost us 3 pts plus a bad snap to Kitna which killed a potential drive.

C Brown cost us big time with his PI call and cost us 7 pts as it extended the game winning drive.

Stanback cost us 3 pts with his fumble.

All 3 of these players are veterans.

I can't see the Cowboys investing more time in these guys. They are what they are.

I like what our 1st team offense and defense did the past 2 games. And I think our STs was much, much improved this game, so we're making good progress there.

Yes Thank U!

We lost a game solely on these 3 guys.
All 3 have had way too much time to show themselves.

Agreed. They had every opportunity to earn spots tonight, but each used it as an opportunity to put another nail in their coffin instead.

pretty much. I think Watkins stays on the team though.

Stanback had a huge fumble, Brown had a stupid PI that resulted in a td. And proctor caused the fumbled snap that resulted in us punting.
Stanback had a chance to redeem himself and got a whole 10 yards on his return effort. Albeit the blocking was non existent.

Proctor also wiped out a 49-50 FG with a really stupid holding call.

I heard Stanback wasn't allowed into the tunnel to the locker room because he isn't a member of the NFL.

see ya Stanback, Procter, and Brown

Especially Proctor... how many games (regular or pre-season) will we let this tard cost us? Maybe we are just waiting to see if he can get one of our QB's killed.

I see Stanback and Brown getting a TON of playing time in the next game, sort of a last chance to redeem themselves. Personally I would like to see how they react to this adversity. Proctor should be given his walking papers before he hits the showers.

I think you should put the crack pipe down.

The starters looked really good all preseason.

No turnovers forced. We're not good enough to win consistently without having a positive turnover ratio.

I'm also worried that Marion Barber is going to get too many touches this year. He looks like the third-best back on the team to me.

If only our backups had won a meaningless preseason game. Then we'd be elite.

I guess great minds think alike Teague: I just posted the same in another thread: just merge mine into this one please mods. As long as I never see any of these three in a cowboy Uniform again I'll be satisfied.....

You can't be serious with that statement... MBIII is the tone setter, he's exactly what the offense needs and has looked very good to me in the preseason.
