I'm pretty sure had it been a regular season game, they'd have went for it.

Its not the distance of the FG that mattered, its the execution of it in a live game action. No matter how hard they try, it isnt the same in practice. And as far as I know, this is the first time McBriar has ever been a holder. He needs the work.
second point....there's where I disagree with you. If it's a regular season game, you kick all the way. Hence, exactly why he should have gone for it last night.
Its based on the situation, and for most of the night our OL was dominating their defensive front. And we've been automatic in preseason converting short yardage plays. With as good as our defense is, I have little doubt Wade would have went for it there in a regular season game.
I believe McBriar was the holder in Week 1 in 2004 and wasnt too good at it, so they went with the Romo/Henson combo (whoever was the #2 that year)going forward.dbair1967;2913112 said:Its not the distance of the FG that mattered, its the execution of it in a live game action.
