CCF's amazing Dallas adventures

Well people, I just spent a lovely four days and three nights in your lovely city and surrounding area.

Had some great food, a steak at some place called Pappadeux or something to that effect, literally melted in my mouth. Went to EV Seafood and the Meddlesome Moth too. I can't forget the Chophouse Burger I had, pretty much best burger I have ever had.

Went to the Cowboys' game at Jerry World, still have no voice from that event (although the traffic control getting out of the stadium is a nightmare).

Did some nice shopping at the Galleria, drank too much at the bar in the Joule Hotel.

Southfork Ranch BBQ was amazing as was my JFK tour.

I went to the DFW gun range and fired guns for the first time ever. I have to admit that bored me after five shots.

People were friendly and the ladies far more charming than northern women, that is for sure.

Loved your city although the eyeball across the street from my hotel room was creepy as hell.

I hope to be back soon.

Sounds like you had a great time!!!! My wife and I stayed at The Joule when we came down two years ago for the Giant game (the Dez fingertip came). It was a great hotel with lots of very good restaurants nearby. Best of all for you is that they won the game you came all the way from Canada to see. I've flown down from New Jersey twice in the last two years and seen two of the most exciting games of my life (Giants in 2012 and the shootout with Denver last year) but unfortunately the Cowboys lost both games.

Yeah I have no idea what he hell that eyeball is supposed to be. I think the pappadeaux you went to is the same one Dez got taunted by that Saints fan in.

Meddlesome Moth is a cool new place I like to go to every now and then. Never had a bad meal there, so definitely a good place to go to.

Hope you can make it back again. Lots of things to see and do that go under the radar here. Glad you enjoyed your stay!
