Which is surprising considering how much Dak forces the ball to him.

Right? Tolbert had 7 TDs last year. Does that make him a B+ receiver?I hate when TDs are pulled out in stats arguments, for any players.
For one, TDs are a small sample size stat. There's a lot of variance.
In addition, they're sort of a team stat. A good offense will create more opportunities for all of its skill players to score TDs. The KC Chiefs WR will have more chances to score TDs than the Saints WR will, no matter who you plug in there.
Yards per route run is a lot better metric. WRs run a lot of patterns, so there's a big sample, and their yardage has a pretty direct correlation with their individual success (if they are beating their man, chances are they will get the ball, and if they aren't, they won't).
YPRR isn't perfect. Football is like Confounding Variables, The Sport because everything interlocks super heavily. But it's better than just box score TDs.
CeeDee is 4th in the league in YPRR, behind JSN, Puka Nacua, and Stefon Diggs. He's just ahead of Amon-Ra St. Brown and Ja'Marr Chase. So Lamb is doing just fine.

Don't know what I'm looking at must be a COOG thread!!Dumb arse thread.
Lol lol exactlyWhich is surprising considering how much Dak forces the ball to him.
Stop!!! Bash me not himSeriously???? I mean, SERIOUSLY???
Lamb is a top 5 WR in this league.
Jebus man learn the game before making silly remarks like that.

If you want to trade the guy just say so don't use this stat as a criteria.

Daron Bland, K Turpin, Dak, Luepke, and Sanders. How is he elite? I say keep Pickens and trade CeeDee. He is also a bit of a prima donna.
No doubt, however, in a team that's so imbalanced between Offense and Defense (yes, yes Jerry) i'd argue that we need to shift and re-tool.Lamb is legit.
Lol,

I beg to differ. This thread is very relevant because the Cowboys will have to make a decision soon, keep Pickens or Lamb. I do not think we have the cap space to pay both. I wished we did. I am in no way saying that Lamb is not a top-notch receiver, he definitely is one of the best. My personal opinion is that we should keep Pickens and trade Lamb. You may disagree, as is your prerogative. I believe Pickens has more upside than Lamb and has not had the injuries that Lamb has endured. I think we get great value if we trade either. When I watch Pickens go after a 50/50 throw, he seems to win those situations overwhelmingly and he does it with great confidence and athleticism. He is a better downfield threat than Lamb although Lamb is a bigger body and works better inside the hash marks. Both are great, sadly we cannot keep them both. This is a dumb thread.
Here’s one for the OP
Dak Prescott has had more tackles this season than Demarvion Overshown!
In fact, Overshown is only tied in tackles with Bryan Anger and Brandon Aubrey!
6 is the points scored, genius not touchdowns. What are you talking about7
DeRon Bland does not 6 6 TDs this season.
CeeDee has 39 career TDs
Making a decision based on the number of touchdowns, particularly when one player missed half of the games, is a poor method of comparison.I beg to differ. Would love to hear your perspective.
