CFP thread

Oregon just not good enough. James Madison was able to score on them in their own stadium. The Texas Tech game was more about how overrated/outmatched TT was compared to Oregon being great.

@DanteEXT

Shout out to you brother. Remembering from conversations past back in 2022 ish just about when Penix transferred to Washington and I know you're a longtime Hoosier fan

Happy for you to see your guys on this run. Mad respect to Cignetti for what hes done in a short time

Rooting for them to close it out. Good luck brother!

:thumbup:thanks my friend! This season has been something I never thought I'd see. Ever.

Indiana TDDDDD
That looked like a nice job by Sarratt getting that ball in for that TD.

Hoosiers 35-7 1st half! :omg:

Honestly, not at all trying to be a dick, but as a lifelong Michigan fan who's watched decades of B1G football in my life, I never thought I'd see it either

Frigging incredible what Cignetti has going on there. Back up the brinks truck IU, there's going to be some poachers coming after your coach ;)

Telling stat on the crawl while Saban is talking:

"Oregon: Most points allowed in a game this season"

PS--it's halftime.....

I had suspicions that Oregon was not all that the way JMU was able to score on them.
But what Indiana is doing to them is something to ponder
Mendoza was all but perfect
I am thinking a lot of schools are going to look at what Cig has done at Indiana, a school with NO football tradition at all.
And wonder why not us?

An inspiration for a lot of schools.

You look at Indiana's schedule
Only beat Old Dominion by 13
PSU by 3
Iowa by 5
Really only beat Oregon late
then stomped them
I can see why many thought they were not that good

Oregon really only played TT and IU during the season
could only beat Iowa by 2 and had some luck there
so its arguable that Oregon was a paper team as well

Very interesting

Why is nobody talking about Carson Beck at the top of next year draft? He looked like Tom Brady last night getting rid of the ball quickly at times and showing patience going through his reads. I've seen him play 3 games toward the end here and I don't see a hair's difference between him and Mendoza. He was the difference last night.
Beck is truly a feel good story. Kinda reminds me of Jalen Hurts (not comparing their games but more referencing the resilience)

I always find it easy to root for guys who seem to be humble good dudes who just refuse to let circumstances and setbacks stop them from chasing their dreams

Good for him and wish him the best

OF the so called top teams this year, Indiana, Oregon, OSU all played no teams outside of each other that anyone would consider all that
But Indiana has gotten it done and stands at the precipice of history

Mendoza is a great QB, but gotta admit he has some very good WR's! They go up in close coverage and they make the catch!
