My Dad and I used to have to "tune" the outdoor antenna when they would black-out games. One of us would turn the Antenna with a big pipe wrench and the other would watch the TV and yell feedback to the other. My Mom would be in the middle relaying the message back and forth.

A couple of cites outside the DFW metroplex broadcast the games and that's what we were "tuning" in. I think it was Waco and maybe Abilene.

Sears had an electric Antenna tuner for $60 but my Dad was not going to spend money on fancy stuff.
Lol. That' awesome we did the same thing for my mom's novelas

Go to KMart or Home Despot and get an antenna. Might not work of you are in the boondocks or have mountains between you and the towers or something. But you can get brilliant HDTV with an antenna for free.

It's a normal game Dish loves to play with networks during their negotiations with them.

No matter what package you have with them you only use about 1/8th of the channels because so many are infomercial channels that nobody watches anyway, yet they get paid for airtime plus charge us for them to make the channel package appear larger than it really is.

Just about all cable companies have so much crap on it is worthless. Most of the channels are useless, and others have seem could be decent channels have crap programming, as they show the same thing over and over.
I mean how many times can they show season 5 episodes 4 through 18, then season 7 episodes 7 through 20 of NCIS or what ever. they can't even show them in sequence either.

1/8 is generous, more like 1/20 of the channels are watchable.

We are having Thanksgiving at my parents today with family and I see that KTVT 11 is removed?! ***? I'm tired of these cable companies and tv networks having these hissy fits and screwing over the customers in the end. How are we supposed to watch the game now?

Can you disconnect the satellite receivers and go buy some rabbit ears? Cowboys game on Thanksgiving is a tradition since I can remember being alive.

I thought it was DirecTV but just realized it's Dish.

I thought Dish folded or got bought out.

I switched from Cable to DirecTV a few years ago for this same network-cable company dispute.

I wouldn't invest in provider companies (Satellite or Cable). Networks are offering direct access over the internet and Netflix and other services are providing more and more content.

I have DirecTV to get the NFL package but otherwise could do without it.

Go buy an Antenna from Walmart, watch the game and return the antenna tomorrow. No questions asked!

You better pray net neutrality isn’t overturned. If that happens everyone but the big companies are going to suffer. You’ll eventually be paying on a per game basis, mark my words. It’s going to be like EA micro transactions in a Shawn Merriman steroid syringe.

Also, YouTube TV has a 7 day free trial and they have CBS. Stream this game and then cancel it.

I have a free offer from cbs.com as a backup. We're going to someone's house at 4. I have no idea if they will even have the game on. So my surface in my game backup.

I have used sportsarefree.xyz as a place to live stream. It has worked well in the past.

Isn't this being broadcast over the air nationally? I think antenna will always be better quality because it's not compressed... Try an antenna!
