CBSSports.com and Bleacher Report are offering aspiring journalists a unique,
once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be an NFL correspondent.

32 correspondents will be chosen, one for each NFL franchise. Entry is open to all applicants.
Correspondents will report from games and team facilities and work under the supervision of CBSSports.com’s editorial staff.
Program runs from July 2009 into January 2010 and requires a full-time commitment.
Candidates will be evaluated on the basis of written work submitted to Bleacher Report during the evaluation period, as well as education and prior journalism experience.

HA!!!! Even more proof that people like eddie werder are pretty much a dime a dozen...

Journalism is failing due to the net, 24 hour news, and a lack of journalistic talent (see the NY Times and their fact check department). They are dinosaurs that refuse to adjust. Much like J. Garrett's game plans.

Sad but true.

I'm pretty disgusted the way journalism has degraded into what we have today, and blogging is one of the biggest reasons.

I see what your saying there, and I do agree with a lot of that. But journalism is going downhill also because of all the focus on blogging, and internet-based reporting.
