Guys and gals, the Eagles are now in sole posession of LAST place... when was the last time that happened? Neither team impressed me tonight for that matter. So facing the Rumpskins wont keep me up at night.

So if Dallas was to go into Filly and rip another hole in em', swarm with our #5 ranked defense, and bludgeon with our #1 in TOP offense, this very well could go a long way for divisional respectability... at that point Filly would have a losing record and would be in serious disarray, even without the eccentric #81.

Remember Filly hasn't even sniffed the Giants yet... That wont happen until the week after next... The East has yet to be locked up... It's gonna be a real interesting last 8 games.

I wasn't impressed by either team. They both looked very beatable.

I was impressed with Brunell...granted, there was little to no pass rush by either team.

Philly made Brunell look like an "all-world QB".........skins have a very good defense but I think ours is better! McNabb looked like the old McNabb scampering around in the backfield but like the old McNabb his accuracy is questionable. B :) oy, do they miss TO! Both looked very beatable!

ever since our first matchup with the eagles teams have found that you can pass over the middle on the eagles all day.

The crossing routes and skinny posts seem to be very effective. It seems like teams try to run on the eagles and if that isnt working, then they just go to their passing game and move the ball up and down the field, i wonder what the eagles defense is ranked at preventing 3rd down conversions ?

And i wonder why the middle is always open, i think its largely cause their LB's are good run stoppers but not good in pass coverage.

The more I watch the Eagles the less impressed I am with their corners. How they made the probowl is beyond me.

It all goes back to the pass rush.......as long as the eagle blitz was working the DB's were very good.........without it they were just average and very beatable! :D

I think that Brown is playing well, but Sheppard is struggling. I believe that only Sheppard made the Probowl last year, Brown was the only member from their secondary that did not make it.

I thought it was just me. Neither teams D was playing very impressively. Arrington made a play at the END of the game and you'd have thought he'd been dominating the game the way the announcers were reacting...

And those Eagles corners, I was pretty surprised. They were not as good as advertised.

if the 'boys beat the Eagles this weekend it would have an eerie resemblance to when the Aikman lead-dynasty was given a death blow from Philly in the late 90s.

both teams last night bumbled and fumbled thru a game. some of the worst coaching, playcalling, and playmaking seen this year. Brunnel's total lack of awareness in the pocket, Donny's worst "spike play" ever, horrible challenges, etc. LOL.

they had alot of big leads and opposing teams took chances. of course playing against VINNY,PATRICK,KURT&ELI 8 times helps a whole lot too ;)

I agree. I think Jim Johnson's blitzes went a long way helping those DB's in coverage. They just didn't have to cover very long. This year they are because Philly can't get pressure on the QB.

Both teams looked like caca if you ask me.

I think the NFC East is going to be a tough division for the foreseeable future. There is some very good talent in the east and all the teams seem to be in a good situation regarding the cap.

Brunell was VERY sharp. If you watched closely, the times the Eagles blitzed, his release seemed to come in microseconds and the ball was on the money. Their rushing attack was inconsistent, but Portis turned it up another notch in the red zone when it counted. All in all, it was an excellent effort by the skins. I am no longer discounting them.

My criticism of the skins is that they were lucky on two separate occasions concerning turnovers. One was on a muffed punt and one was after the reception setting up their last TD when the receiver fumbled. On both occasions, a skin player was right there to fall on the ball. Had either one of those gone the other way, we might be talking about a much different result today.

The boys need to win Monday,if they're to
reach the playoffs.I say this because if they lose,
it'll just be win one week, lose the next, and so on.
They need to come on strong, string together a nice
win streak, and then, they'll be in the driver's seat.

For the most part I agree but again win or lose next Monday night assures us nothing.

To further my point, they need to beat Philly,
and go on a tear, or atleast win the next few
games.I think only then, can they prove they can
beat anyone. They've blown some good games, but
they've been in every game they play. They must
dominate. And, lol, if they get to that point,Carolina
looks scary,atleast right now.

Tonight's and next week's Monday Night games have that similarity-- it's as big if not bigger psychologically for the visiting team than with regards to the W-L standings. When was Dallas last win in Philadelphia in a game that meant something? In 1996, playing with Michael Irvin suspended and not making the trip?

Of the 15 Commander fumbles this season, 11 have been recovered by the other team. We have been the unluckiest team in the league by far in that regard (in contrast, look at your Cowboys, who have coughed it up 19 times this season, but only lost 7). That a bounce or two FINALLY went our way is not good luck, just bad luck evening out. :)
