I think odds are Tenn takes Tunsil and Cle go's with Wentz or Goff but who will the Chargers take?

It could likely influence the player we end up taking.

It could be Ramsey, It could be Bosa.

We could end up taking whichever of the two are left.

As of today, I would guess Ramsey. Especially if he aces the Combine, which many predict he will.

Agreed. I am no expert but I am penciling them in for Ramsey or a trade down with someone trying to get ahead of Dallas for the 2nd QB.

I personally hope they take Bosa and leave Ramsey for us but I think you are likely right.

I don't think Bosa fits a 3-4 defense like San Diego runs. Bosa is what 6'5" 275 lbs I believe. That may be too light to play DE in a 3-4 and too heavy to play LB. I see Bosa as a 4-3 DE.

Good point. I have a sneaky uneasy feeling that we end up with Bosa. It is a position of need and he could be a good pick but I would so much prefer that we address one of the positions that have been neglected for so long. It is just a shame that with all of the resources and effort made to shore up the DE position we still are no closer to having it resolved than the day we let Ware go.

Bosa is not a fit for the chargers. It's either going to be Buckner, Ramsey, or Stanley. Potential trade down with SF as well.

I'm going Ramsey and Stanley as the wild card. Secondary and OL are trash for SD.

I don't see SF trading up now that Kapernick is going back there at almost $12 million dollars next year.

This reminds me of the Quentin Jammer/Chargers draft. Chargers were right in front of us then to. Came down to Jammer and Roy. Who would we get??

Who remembers that one?

What if they shock everyone and take a QB to groom to take over in a few years. :D

I have actually seen a few mock drafts with this. Not sure why it would be so out of bounds given that Rivers is 34 and Romo is 35. Rivers is healthier, but he has also very slowly been getting worse. It gets even more interesting when you consider that the Chargers gave Rivers himself two full years to sit on the bench and do nothing before throwing him to the wolves...

I think depending on how Stanley tests out and does in his campus workout, Tennessee could be a wild card too. If they grade Stanley and Tunsil very closely, they could be more willing to move.

He's played DE in a 3-man front and DT in a 4-man front. He could certainly be a 3-4 DE, it just wouldn't be his best position.
