We shouldn't believe anything at this time as most is smokescreens and seeing what rumors they can get generating. I do think they want Stanley as most the network guys have insight to the club's. Mike Mayock doesn't know everything, I do bet though he knows enough to mock Stanley to him because he has caught wind of inside conversations

It makes sense if SD wanted Stanley or Ramsey, guys who were never going to go first or second. Hence you haven't heard anything from them about any movement. They've known who they want all along and it's someone there knew would be there at 3. I think they're taking Ramsey without hesitation.
