The San Diego Chargers have announced they have placed DL Jamal Williams (triceps) on Injured Reserve, ending his 2009 season.

That is a big loss for the Chargers and their defense. Williams is an outstanding NT and will really be missed.

It will make it a bit easier to run against them when we play them in December though.

I wouldn't be surprised if they semi-collapse this year. That game here late might not be as tough as we think. They definitely should've lost that first game to the Raiders and they look like they're springing leaks all over the place. Their only saving grace IMO is that they're in such a lousy division.
