Those discounting Tapper's ability to ever play in the NFL are going to be in for a surprise.

Fully recovered, he is going to be a very good player for the Cowboys.

Agree! LOVED the tapper pick thought he was a huge steal for us and Marinelli will absolutely love him. He will never be a ten sack guy but he will be a great rotational player and steady contributor. He is always active, never stops, and will make a lot of plays that aren't sensational but are important. Love the thought of him with Collins and Irving. If Gregory hadn't smoked himself out we'd be looking at a very strong DL and pass rush.
Romo for Clowny and use the draft to cinch up the secondary and let's get #6

Well, tell you what...he didn't fail as a player..on the field!? He smoked dope. So, logically there is still great hope for a player like that. I mean, if he didn't have talent, ok, he's done. Learning and maturity are different. If he was an NBA player, he would never have missed a game! He needs to grow a bit and either stop smoking until the next CBA or find out how to beat the pointless tests. He still has the talent and truthfully its the league that needs to improve its thinking. Sad situation and completely unnecessay.

I love the talent. But his head is not in the game. 5% chance he becomes anything in the NFL. 20% he never plays another down.

20% chance he never plays another down? I'd push that to around 90% chance.

Dudes career is finished, unfortunately.

Because on top of not being able to quit pot, he is a moron it would seem. Most guys know how to get around the test. He is just too lazy or stupid to do it. I'm not sure he really cares.

I think the tests get harder to pass after you fail a few times because they're extremely random.

For the "clean" NFL players, they get a scheduled date every year to take a drug test. If you don't pass, you're a 5 star idiot.

After failing 2 times, i think it becomes a random day to day basis type of test?
