I would be surprised if Wentz went #2 overall but I guess we will learn a lot more about him leading up to the draft. I would be similarly surprised if, in this situation, Dallas doesn't either:

a) select Goff at #4 or
b) trade down with someone wanting Goff

Based on what I have read so far, I don't think you can pass on Goff at #4 unless you are trading down to get more picks.

Wow, the Wentz hype is full force right now. I almost feel sorry for the kid as it will be hard to live up to these new expectations at the Senior Bowl. If he isn't downright perfect, as people seem to be expecting he'll be, he'll start sliding back down.

If Wentz is so good the Browns draft him, then Goff will probably be ours for the taking, and that is a very good thing. If they stick with Goff, then we can get Wentz. Win-win unless another team trades up and both are gone at #4. Then hopefully we like Lynch and he works for us.

I understand a lot of you don't recognize the potential that Wentz has and you don't want him because of the logo on his helmet but trust me this is the QB we need.

I'm very familiar with Wentz and North Dakota State. We used some of their defensive concepts and they have exchanged a lot of film with us. One of our best defensive players is a ND State bounceback.

21 has not been kind to the Browns in recent drafts. Qb from Notre Dame ( forgot his name), Weeden, Manziel just to name a few.
