The Irish have a young team that got completely dominated at the los on both sides of the ball yesterday. They'll get better with experience, but the first two months of the season are likely to be ugly.

I was out most of the day but got home to see it was 26-3 for Georgia Tech. All is good.

Anyday the vastly overrated Irish lose is a good day.

Don't despair Domer fan, they should win their last four of the season because they are playing the equivalent of Div III schools at home.

Coaching can only get you so far, ND lacks the talent to compete with quality teams.

I think the RAW talent is there, but its VERY young. The D played a lot better then it looks- the O was pathetic. I think by the end of the year the D will be quite good- best ND has had in years. Unfortunately, the O is really bad right now. ANd its basically the same problem we had last year on the O line. I saw several plays when the ND QB was hit about 1.5 seconds after the snap- and they were not blitzing. And he was getting hit by 2-3 guys. Run blocking was pretty sad as well. Jones is NOT the QB- Charlie might have figured that as nimble as he is he had a better shot, but nope. Sharpley has some potential and Clausen looked good- but he was up against scrubs late in the game. Anyone who thought we were going to be really good this year was totally dreaming. You cannot lose the talent on O that we did and be very good the next year. 8 new starters on Offense- not a good thing.
