Just to think they are actually considering him for a starting position.......a new one. Never been a poster questioning coaches or FO decisions but how can you go into a season counting on a player history of injuries. Hopefully, Cooper will now take the position and run with it ..........

Sucks because it seems Chaz has the talent to be a really good lineman in this league. But some players just don't have the body for it.

No chance to start now, IMO.
I think the Cowboys were planning to start either Green or Cooper at LG based on which one made it through TC uninjured.

If he is only out two weeks I think he still have a shot at starting. More than that, very little chance.

They were not counting on him.
That's why they moved La'el to RT.
Green was very good at LT in 2 starts last season.
They would have planned on him at RT and La'el at LG if they just wanted the most talented 5 on the field; however, they knew Green was likely to get injured and therefore moved La'el to RT.
Basically they are as far from counting on Green as possible based on their actions.

Maybe, but I think they set it up to be a battle between him and Cooper to see who could avoid injury in TC. The least injured likely wins.
Cooper has been injured at about the same rate as Green in his career. If you consider the two of them as one player, then you might get through a season.
