It makes sense to work the questionable guys at every spot. We want to keep the best 8 or 9 OL that we have and those that can play multiple spots are going to have more value. Pretty simple stuff.

The Cowboys have been trying Chaz Green everywhere else on the line, so they might as well give him a looksee at LG as well. Who knows, maybe that's the spot for him, when all is said and done. No harm in giving him a chance to find his niche to give his best performance.

The main concern I have with him and likely what the team has as well, is his durability or the lack thereof. I'm really hoping Chaz gets his body in tip-top shape in the days ahead if he hasn't quite done so already. That'd definitely be a good starting point, if you ask me.
He will up on the unemployment line :lmao:

And when did Chaz Green showed he had the talent? Please. The guy was a horrible draft pick, an injury prone part time player in college and has done nothing but disappoint here.
He started and played 2 complete game at LT in the middle of last season. His performance was very good. He was better than Doug Free's career best game.

agreed. Initially I thought Dallas stole one when they got Cooper then I went back to watch his games last year with Cleveland and couldn't figure out why he was still in NFL. That injury did a number on him. Maybe Dallas can trade linebacker since they look deep there for OG.
I don't believe that you watched Cooper in Cleveland.

I just re-watched all of his snaps in the games he started there. I had already watched them but I wanted to verify what I remembered.

Can you name some specific plays where he was bad?

Which was his worst game? Best game?

If he's healthy at worst he's the swing tackle and now he may backup OG as well.

I think that's the plan, with Cooper being the back-up center. They could carry 6 linemen on the game-day roster that way.

Here's one against the Chargers.

Odd response.

I said I don't think the poster I addressed watched the games.

Did you think I meant he made zero mistakes? You can find mistakes by Zack Martin if you look at all snaps.

The video was praising the play of Cooper overall so if you're agreeing with the poster that said he can't play, it would be odd to post this video.

Tyrone Crawford shows up more on social media than he does on game days. This is why you don't pay a guy before he's done anything of substance, it makes them think that mediocre production is acceptable. Everything out of this tools mouth is either a reference to his latest injury rehab, or how the team has asked him to play different positions and how that makes it hard to master one... aka excuses as to why he's never meeting expectations.

He should be embarrassed that a 3rd round rookie who missed all of training camp snatched his job within a month.

But he's all about putting that WorkK in!!

The day this clown is cut can't come fast enough. Him and his overweight buddy. If we never drafted another player from Boise that'd be a-okay with me

I responded to your post that asked the other poster "Can you name some specific plays where you think he was bad?"

I posted a video that clearly shows some of his bad plays which relates back to your question.

I note the limitations of the statement made...and you did open up a discussion sustainable element as such.

As an over view, although, I'm pulling strongly for Cooper. He had a ton going for him when he came into the league...I hope some anger comes out in his play now; for the Cowboys will be better off for it. :) As will us fans!!

And at what point are you going to concede your stance on Chaz Green?

Why should he? The guy is a talented player, Sean Lee was big question mark as well injury wise.
If Green stays healthy he is your RT and Collins slides back inside.

We will dress 7 OL on game day. So the two backups have to be able to play multiple positions. Ideally one person that can play both tackle spots (Green or Cleary) and one that can play both guard and center (Lonney or Cooper)

We must have watched different tape because you definitely weren't watching Cooper play last year if you came away with that impression. He was the best thing on that line outside of Thomas
