We must have watched different tape because you definitely weren't watching Cooper play last year if you came away with that impression. He was the best thing on that line outside of Thomas

yea we must be watching different tape. His last three starts after the bye week were: CIN/BUF/SD. Each game got worse. He was horrific against SD (was beaten often in that game). Apparently he stopped taking coaching and was released. Now some of this is on Cleveland but lets not forget 3 teams have released him in 3 years. That's a problem. We all want to see him succeed but Dallas isn't even attempting Cooper at LG but rather C. Here is gif I found against SD. He is number 64. There were many more plays like this but this will show he no longer has the feet he did in college:

The gap penetrated, was provided by the center leaving a huge area to slide into...that was a group problem, instead.

Sounds like the team is using this period of time to experiment and increase player flexibility. Pollack stated that linemen needed to be an,e to work at more than one position and this only reinforces that claim.

From what I've read, they're doing the same with many guys. Cooper at backup center, Green at left guard, Cleary at left guard, Big Dan Skipper at guard. Other than Smith, Frederick, and Martin, everyone else has been moved around at some point.

What's it going to be then, eh?

They are also playing a coy game with the lineup.

They want Cooper getting extra time in at center, but it is not a coincidence Green is at LG on the Jaylon Smith days.

He started and played 2 complete game at LT in the middle of last season. His performance was very good. He was better than Doug Free's career best game.

Yah right. So why didnt he start over Free? And why did he just lost the job with RT before training camp? Chaz Green is a bust.

Why should he? The guy is a talented player, Sean Lee was big question mark as well injury wise.
If Green stays healthy he is your RT and Collins slides back inside.

Sean Lee Won the award for best linebacker in college. And he didnt miss his first two season because of injury.

Chaz green was a part time injury prone player in college and has been healthy for all of two games in two year in the NFL. HE has already lost the job at RT this year.

Yep, already lost the RT job. Cant count on him. Looks like they see him as a career backup type.

Jesus Christ. Same song and dance with you Roy. Would you like to make a bet on Chaz Greens bust status?

He was dealing with an injury in OTAs.

He is NOT a bust from an ability perspective. Injuries are his only issue.

Why do I have to like Chaz Green? I hated the pick, many people hated the pick and he has done NOTHING to prove the doubters wrong. Chaz Green up to this point has been a bust. That is not debatable. He just lost the competition for the RT position. He is now vying with several other guys for the LG position.

But yah, lets make a bet. Ill give you first shot at it.

That was funny. I will have to remember that one. He cant play, but he has some talent so he isnt a bust? LOL

Yah, whatever. So Gregory isnt a bust either? After all, he has some talent right?

Okay so what does he have to do to not be considered a bust? That's where we can start the bet at

Chaz Green is a perfect example of what a bust is. Isnt playing or starting after two seasons with any kind of consistency.
