good grief...
DAL had him last year and chose to bring him back this year.
They liked him enough to re-sign him. That's it, end of story.

Whether he ever plays meaningful snaps or or not is merely a guess.

Dallas is asking all their back ups to play multiple OL positions.
For Arizona of course he was a bust. Matters zero to Dallas.

yea we must be watching different tape. His last three starts after the bye week were: CIN/BUF/SD. Each game got worse. He was horrific against SD (was beaten often in that game). Apparently he stopped taking coaching and was released. Now some of this is on Cleveland but lets not forget 3 teams have released him in 3 years. That's a problem. We all want to see him succeed but Dallas isn't even attempting Cooper at LG but rather C. Here is gif I found against SD. He is number 64. There were many more plays like this but this will show he no longer has the feet he did in college:

The gap penetrated, was provided by the center leaving a huge area to slide into...that was a group problem, instead.

There were not "many more plays like this".

I watched all of his snaps in his 3 starts.

The gif is not about slow feet. Anybody should be able to see that he can move quite well. If that play is about "slow feet" then it is theoretically impossible for Ron Leary to have played in the NFL because his feet are much slower.

Ill be happy when the guy gets on the field and actually wins a starting job and plays at least 10-16 games. Until then, this conversation doesnt make much sense.

You said he had no skills originally but I guess what you meant to say was he just can't stay healthy. Two separate issues...

He has been nothing but a disappointment all around any way you slice. Anyone that comes into the NFL has talent and skills. I have seen little from Green to indicate he has something more than the average skill if that.

So you missed the game that he filled in at left tackle when Ty was hurt because we didn't miss a beat when he was in there.

Well since you finally admit to missing one then you obviously missed 4, two of which he started in...

LOL......I didnt miss any. Just laughing at how one game or a couple games in two years is supposed to define a guy when he has been hurt the rest of the time. He is a bust until proven otherwise. And in case you didnt notice he already has lost the RT job that you and some others were so certain he would win. Now he is stuck in the wash trying to compete with 4 other guys for the guard position. Bottom line is you cant count on him so it makes little sense to start him. A backup that can possibly fill in if healthy is more like it.

When he finally wins a starting job and plays all 16 games, then lets talk.

Wow he started two games? LOL Headed to the hall of fame no doubt.

You are still deflecting from the original argument. You said he has no talent but in reality he's just been injured a lot. We knew this when we drafted him which is also why he fell to the third round. Whatever, deflect away...

He has never played every game in any season in college or pros. So to rely on him would be extremely stupid. No matter how talented. That explains why they are looking to make him a multi position backup. then the reliability problem is much less important.

I dont like the guy. Didnt like him as a draft pick. He has done nothing to quell doubts. That is the bottom line. Talk about whatever side nonsense you want. Until the guy actually wins a starting job, keeps it and plays at least a whole season and does so well, he is a bust.

I really dont care if that point of view bothers you, or you dont like it. Reality sometimes is hard to handle.

I will talk critical or glowing about any coach, player or owner I like. Again, if that bothers you, then that is not my problem.
