Yes, it's back by request, after an off-week and a loss.

Top CL concerns today - Berry and Okeafor.

Add a bye week of sheer hell if it's a loss. And not just here.

I read somewhere the players are looking forward to a few days off over the bye, and assume there will be none if it's a loss today.

That alone should get the mojo working overtime.

Parcells shoves Jerry Jones on the sidelines after Jerry comes down to inspire the team toward the end of a 24-13 loss.

Fitz and Boldin are #2.
Don't worry about Anquan Boldin. Larry Fitzgerald is the real game breaker. Fitz isn't fast, so Roy should be able to help cover him. Fitz can go up the middle. But he will rarely burn CB for the Santana Moss type TD's.

As the refs try not to show their laughter. Makes ESPN highlights as play of the day.

I think Dallas wins this game easy (of course I thought that against SF too). If Dallas does not win, they will not make the playoffs. This is the easiest game left on the schedule, and it is a conference game. All of their remaining division games are on the road and none of them will be easy.

If they cant win this game, they are not a playoff team.

Of course I could be wrong...

Remember back to 1990, everyone thought we were not a playoff team then. We were 3-7, won 4 to get to 7-7. We had the Iggles on the back of their heels at Philly. Aikman gets hurt, and we lose that and the next game. Miss the playoffs. No thanks to Babe Laughenberg. Why couldn't he have retired to broadcasting a year earlier.

Actually we had a shot at the playoffs at 7-9. On the Monday night game, we needed the Saints to lose, and we were in. The Rams blocked a last second FG attempt, but were called for offsides. NO rekicks, makes it and win. They go in the playoffs at 8-8. And get beat by a very banged up Bears team.

I still think since the Bears were so beat up, and if Aiman could have came back and played in that game, we would have won. But may not have went any further after that.

And that brings up a great point.

Who would rather back into the playoffs than not go at all?

I would rather a team earn it, rather than use backing in as a foundation for false hope.

Sometimes having a bitter end to a season is better than falsehood. That is exactly what happened in 2003. It got us thinking that we were better than we were, we sat back and allowed things to happen rather than making them happen.

If we don't win outright and earn it, I would rather sit at home in January.

True, and in retrospect, that was a good thing that happened they didn't make it. I think it made them more hungry for it, and they improved from it the following year. Because like this team, they were young, but didn't realize how talented they really were. And everyone (the entire football world) knew they was going to be good. They went 11-5 and 1-1 in the playoffs in 91'

We all know what happened the following year. :)

Roy gives up a big play (just because he happened to be in the TV frame). Coverage actually belonged to one of the LBers...

They came back a young and HUNGRY team.

That is what I envision this current group perhaps doing.

That's funny but true. So coverage belonged to the LB via the camera guy so we wouldn't see Roy or was the LBer actually supposed to be covering? What a mess this has turned into!!
