They really are a good team.

Poe was owning the redbeard in that he was getting no push at all; but he is a rookie and it is doubtful he has run up against many as strong and athletic as Poe.

Bernie... really nothing to say

We could not get anything going as regards running the ball and those that claim it does not matter were once again proven wrong.

Romo just does not look 100%- those ribs must be hurting more than the team is willing to admit.

I saw no separation from Austin at all; Williams- zip but no real surprise. Witten unfortunately was contained so that he was pretty much a non factor as well.

Des is all we had and that is NOT enough.

So offensively I was not really surprised as I watched things unfold.

Defensively we did pretty decently. Anyone thinking we were going to get a bunch of turnovers in every game need to go on the wagon.

We ran up against a good team that played well with a coach that knows us well. And we did not play well enough to win. Simple as that.

Lot of us thought they would give the boys all they could handle.

I thought we would lose.

I still feel like we have a better team but Andy Reid and all of the other NFC East coaches know that if you make Dallas be patient we'll eventually fall apart.

We had more than enough talent to beat them, but we didn't.

Last week the Giants took Dez away. This week the Chiefs took Witten away. But still, with the weapons on this team, the failures in the redzone are inexcusable.

I still think Dallas is a better team, but this offense isn't going to win anything with the plays they were trying to run.

i knew they were good. I actually expected then to score more points. I think they make the playoffs this year.

Still the Dallas D did enough that we could have won.

Not me. I figured they would score around 17-20 points and I knew they had a good defense. If anything, Cowboys offense is worse than I thought they were.

Yes, that sums it up.

I think the painkillers wore off on Romo by the 4th and he was hurting bad. He just did not seem to be able to really unload.

Anyone here familiar with how long those pain injection shots last?

By most accounts, Toradol injections last for about 3 hours before wearing off. I don't know if that's what Romo got, but as far as I know that's typically what a "painkiller injection" is.

It's also something that the league has considered banning because it's got some pretty negative side-effects with extensive use - and there are guys who use it before almost every game.

Lot of us thought they would give the boys all they could handle.

I certainly thought that. I literally laughed out loud when I saw some of the ridiculous predictions from some of our fan base.

For some inexplicable reason they assumed the Cowboys would walk all over the Chiefs.

I picked the Cowboys to win but I thought it would be a one possession game; not that Cowboys will win by 20 nonsense that I saw being thrown around.

IMO, the Chiefs were what a I expected...a decent defense, a good running back and a game manager at QB that when he plays well, they will win...the thing I didn't expect was for the offense to go backwards...I actually felt they would progress a little after the first game...is that asking too much?
