Yep... they can still trade him. It just prevents him from being a free agent.

My guess is one stipulation of this trade is a long-term deal for Cassell from the Chiefs.

highly doubtful they did, and if they did Pioli is truly an idiot and is clearly not the genius people have made him out to be

they probably got him for a 2nd and something else, maybe another 2nd next yr

Personally, I think Cassel sucks, so any first day pick would count as a fleecing.

Cassell will have some good weapons around him in bowe and gonzalez and whatever they get out of larry johnson. but johnson and haley seem like oil and water.
