He could still be an effective situational pass rusher but I suspect he would want more than you can pay for that role

Hes the type of player you bring in on a young team that can provide some good play, which is needed on a team who wasnt far off but couldnt apply pressure when it mattered.

Depends on what he wants. They're letting him go because of money so he didn't want to give them a discount.

????? Besides Witten and Lee, we don't have any over the hill guys. Who are you referring to?

Unless, you're being sarcastic because Witten's 2 mil broke the bank

Yeah and Lee who is a top notch starter when healthy is depth, will interchange throughout the game with our 2 young starters as well be the 3rd LB on the field when we're in a 4-3. He's only making $3.5 million, have his salary. $5.5 million without incentives for Jason Witten and Sean Lee to play on your team.

now wait a minute...lets say we get DLAW to sign his tender..we then have him for 1 year...THEN sign free agent Justin Houston for 1 year. we would have all pro starting bookends!!! If only for a year. I could live with that.

He literally turned 30 two months ago.

Yeah, I'd be interested.

Our DL is right on the verge of being completely terrible if DLaw waits until June/July to get surgery. It also gives us options.
