Chip Kelly reaping what he sows...

Turns out Gore and Andre Johnson jointly decided not to go to Philly, but rather Indy. Apparently, Gore heard about Chip Kelly's overbearing personality and did not want to deal. This is what other Philly players have alluded to (very tough practices, conditioning, etc.). He may be a "genius," but the disciplinarian, tyrannical college schtick does not work with pros who, in many cases, earn more than the coach. Sorry Chip.

I have a problem with players who think like this. The NFLPA has done a good job at protecting them from overbearing practices and if what is now constituted is accepted then so what if there are tough practices in the time allotted.

Jimmy is rolling his eyes right now.

Didn't Gore get a much better offer in Indy?

That offer posted yesterday had no validity at all. It was a total crock an thread was closed as a result.
It wouldn't surprise me if they gave him more though...just not THAT much more.

Gore and Johnson are both Miami guys and stay in touch, so it wouldn't surprise me at all if the OP nailed it.

SAS says it's because Chip is a racist. Well he didn't have the guts to actually say it, he just strongly implied it.

i love when dudes are called geniuses without doing anything. it always turns out later on that it was all hot air.

Did you see this site when they beat us last year? There were people on this site calling him a genius despite him having done NOTHING.

SAS didn't say racist he just said "brothers want some answers....". The actual racist is Riley Cooper and he's still on the team. But you get rid of Lesean McCoy, Desean Jackson, Trent Cole, etc. because they don't fit the "culture". But a racist does? Something definitely doesn't add up.

Chip Kelly doesn't need top level players to make his system work. He may not even need actual players.

There's a movie made about this.... Phantom Menace.
Now if someone could clip art in the face - switch colors to green. We're cookin.
